Hello everyone!  We hope that you are all starting 2013 with successful resolutions and a full calendar doing things you love to do!
With every year comes change, and we have made a few ourselves.  While loving the event industry, we have decided to continue our businesses dedicating our time to our specialties.
Mary will stay with Stems and continue with floral and design for weddings and events as well as run the events at Slates at The Palatine.  Shelli has developed and launched Shelli Armstrong Events and will continue event coordination and design.
We both look forward to working events along side each other ~ just with different roles.  We also look forward to a continued relationship with our vendors in the same manor we have over the years.
We look forward to seeing you all throughout the year and wish you all the best!

Sincerely,
Mary & Shelli

Stevie's Sweet 16 Celebration

3 years ago, I helped a good friend with her daughter's Sweet 16 birthday party.  It was a blast!  Mid 2012, we asked ourselves how we were gonna do it again with her next daughter who would be celebrating her Sweet 16 at the end of the year.   Brenda always has fun ideas and wants her guests to leave an event having the best time ever!  Well ~ we did it!!  With the help of our amazing vendors, and a fabulous venue, Stevie celebrated her Sweet 16 in style.....

Simple yet fun table setting

Perfect setting for the entertainment.

Candy?  Yes please!

Yummy Slider station to welcome the guests.

Keeping the dance floor alive!!!

Lounge & Lights ~ a perfect combo.

Spun Sugar Sixteen

The cake was fantastic ~ and even a cheetah print inside!! Too bad it got eaten before we realized we didn't take a picture of it!

An overview just as guests were arriving.

What's a party without a Photo Booth?  Boring!!!

Ice Cream Bar ~ Old Fashioned Soda Pop Bar ~ Candy Bar

Lindsey & Dustin ~ September 15, 2012

September was about as busy as it gets for weddings, and this year was no exception for TVS. Beautiful.
That pretty much sums up so much of the day we shared with Lindsey and Dustin.
With a beautiful outdoor Copper River ceremony followed by a reception that had more dancing than I've seen in years, this was an event many will never forget!  Every element was just perfect ~ location, floral, music, and food.  Thanks to the staff at Copper River, Stems Floral, Haro Entertainment, Media Solutions, Inc., The Linen Shoppe.  Thank you for assisting in making this day truly beautiful!
And to add to the beautiful ~ the images provided by Mark Janzen Photography ~ Enjoy...
